What Is Nano Infusion Under Eye Treatment?

Nano Infusion is an advanced eye rejuvenation protocol. It targets the area that shows tiredness and ageing first: the thin, fragile skin around your eyes.

At the heart of the treatment is NCTF 135HA, Fillmed’s celebrated “New Cellular Treatment Factor”. Backed by over 40 years of research, it combines free hyaluronic acid with more than 50 active ingredients, including vitamins, amino acids, minerals, co-enzymes and nucleic acids. Together they hydrate the skin, support your fibroblasts (the cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin) and help restore radiance to the eye contour, all without changing your features or expression.

We deliver NCTF 135HA using the Hydra H6 nano infusion system rather than injections. Ultra-fine nano cones glide across the skin’s surface, creating microscopic channels in the very outermost layer. Because nothing penetrates beyond the skin’s surface, the treatment is comfortable, there are no injection marks or papules afterwards, and we can safely treat right across the delicate under-eye area, somewhere traditional microneedling and many injectable treatments can’t reach.

Why We Recommend Nano Infusion Instead of Tear Trough Fillers

Most people who come to us asking for tear trough fillers aren’t suitable candidates for it.

True under-eye hollowing that responds well to filler is less common than you might think. Far more often, tired-looking eyes are caused by thin, crepey, dehydrated skin, fine lines, or dark circles linked to skin quality rather than volume loss. Filler can’t fix skin quality, and in the wrong candidate it can cause puffiness or a bluish tint under the eye.

That’s exactly where Nano Infusion shines. By boosting hydration, density and radiance of the skin itself, it targets the most common causes of tired-looking eyes directly. It’s also gentler, needs no downtime, and carries none of the vascular risks that make the tear trough one of the most technically demanding areas to inject.

At your free consultation, Jacqui will assess your under-eye area and tell you honestly which option is right for you.

What Nano Infusion Under Eye Treatment Can Help With

Clients at our Southampton clinic book Nano Infusion to improve the appearance of:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, including crow’s feet
  • Crepey under-eye skin that looks thin or fragile
  • Dark circles linked to thin, dehydrated or dull skin
  • Dehydrated skin around the eye contour
  • Dull or tired-looking eyes that don’t reflect how you feel
  • Mild skin laxity around the eye area
  • Uneven skin texture around the eyes

It’s also a great preventative treatment if you’re starting to notice the first signs of ageing around your eyes and want to keep the skin healthy, hydrated and resilient.

If your main concern is deep hollowing beneath the eye, shadowing caused by genuine volume loss may respond better to tear trough filler. This is exactly what we assess at your consultation.

How Your Nano Infusion Under Eye Treatment Works

Nano Infusion treatment takes around 45 to 60 minutes and follows a carefully structured clinical protocol:

1. Consultation and assessment – Jacqui reviews your medical history, discusses your goals and confirms Nano Infusion is right for you.

2. Preparation – Your skin is double cleansed and disinfected to ensure a hygienic treatment area. A brand-new sterile nano cartridge is opened for every client and filled with NCTF 135HA using aseptic technique.

3. Nano infusion – Using gentle circular, cross-hatch and, where needed, targeted stamping techniques, Jacqui works methodically across the under-eye, lateral eye and crow’s feet areas. NCTF 135HA is fed into the skin continuously throughout, so the actives are delivered evenly exactly where they’re needed. The nano cones are extremely gentle; most clients describe a light vibrating sensation and nothing more.

4. Finishing touches –A gentle lymphatic drainage massage encourages absorption and reduces any puffiness, followed by Fillmed’s soothing B3 Recovery Cream and broad-spectrum SPF 50. A cooling eye mask is available if you’d like extra comfort before you leave.

You can return to your day straight away. There may be some mild pinkness for a few hours, but no marks, no bruising and no papules.

Results and Your Treatment Course

Nano Infusion works with your skin’s own renewal processes, so results build progressively. Many clients notice their eye area looks fresher and more hydrated after the first session, with the most visible improvements in radiance, texture and fine lines developing over the course.

For best results, we recommend:

  • A course of 4 treatments, spaced 2 weeks apart
  • Maintenance sessions every 6 to 8 weeks, tailored to your skin and goals

A single session also works beautifully as a pre-event glow boost when you want your eyes to look their brightest for a special occasion.

Is Nano Infusion Suitable for Me?

Nano Infusion is suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin that isn’t suited to deeper microneedling. It’s ideal if you want a natural, gradual improvement in the quality of the skin around your eyes without injections or downtime.

We’re unable to treat you if you:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Have an active eye infection, conjunctivitis or cold sore
  • Have broken skin, or an active eczema or dermatitis flare in the area
  • Have had recent eye surgery
  • Have a known allergy to any of the product ingredients

Jacqui checks for all of this at your consultation, and if Nano Infusion isn’t right for you, she’ll recommend what is.

Downtime, Aftercare and Side Effects

Nano Infusion is a no-downtime treatment. You may notice mild redness, slight warmth or a little temporary sensitivity around the eyes, which typically settles within a few hours.

To get the most from your treatment, for 24 hours afterwards we ask you to avoid touching or rubbing the area, active skincare (retinol, vitamin C, AHAs and BHAs), hot baths, saunas, swimming, strenuous exercise and direct sun. For 48 hours, avoid facial waxing or aggressive facial treatments. Keep your skin hydrated, stick to gentle skincare and wear SPF daily. If you’re prone to puffiness, sleeping slightly elevated on the first night helps.

Full written aftercare is provided at your appointment.

Nano Infusion Under Eye Treatment FAQs

Nano Infusion is an eye rejuvenation protocol using NCTF 135HA, a blend of hyaluronic acid and more than 50 active ingredients, to hydrate, brighten and improve the quality of the delicate skin around the eyes. At Lumineux Aesthetics, we deliver it using gentle nano infusion rather than injections.

No. Tear trough filler adds volume beneath the eye to correct hollowing. Nano Infusion improves the quality of the skin itself: its hydration, smoothness, brightness and resilience. Many people who aren’t suitable for filler are excellent candidates for Nano Infusion, which is why it’s often recommended as a tear trough filler alternative.

Not at our clinic. Some clinics deliver Fillmed NCTF 135HA using ultra-fine microinjections. At Lumineux Aesthetics, we use the Hydra H6 nano infusion system instead: nano cones create microscopic channels in the very surface of the skin while the serum is infused continuously. Nothing penetrates beyond the outermost layer, so there are no injection marks, papules or bruising.

No. The nano cones are extremely gentle and most clients find the treatment comfortable and even relaxing. No numbing cream is needed.

It depends what’s causing them. Dark circles linked to thin, dehydrated or dull skin often improve as skin quality and hydration improve. Shadowing caused by a genuine hollow (volume loss) is better addressed with filler in suitable candidates. Jacqui will assess which applies to you at your free consultation.

We recommend a course of 4 treatments, spaced 2 weeks apart, followed by maintenance every 6 to 8 weeks. You can also book a single session as a pre-event skin boost.

Many clients notice fresher, more hydrated-looking eyes after their first session. The most visible improvements in fine lines, texture and radiance build over the course as the actives support your skin’s own collagen and elastin production.

No. You may have mild pinkness for a few hours, but you can go straight back to your day, and there are no marks or bruising.

Nano infusion is generally very well tolerated. The NCTF 135HA serum used in the treatment is a CE-marked product used in aesthetic clinics worldwide, and because the method works only on the skin’s surface, it avoids the risks associated with injecting around the eye. Side effects are typically mild and short-lived.

We can’t treat you if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active eye infection or cold sore, broken skin or an eczema flare in the area, have had recent eye surgery, or have a known allergy to the ingredients. All of this is checked at consultation.
