Confidence starts with feeling understood. Listening carefully and offering clear, honest guidance is where that begins. Lumineux Aesthetics is a leading clinic offering advanced treatments with a focus on precision, transparency, and natural results. We spoke with Jacqueline Thomasson, below, Owner and Founder of Lumineux Aesthetics, as the clinic is recognised in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Awards 2025.

Situated in the heart of Southampton, Lumineux Aesthetics is a premier clinic offering a refined selection of advanced aesthetic treatments. From expertly delivered dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections to bespoke skin rejuvenation therapies and medical-grade skincare, the clinic provides tailored solutions designed to support natural enhancement and long-term skin health. Known for its meticulous standards and modern approach, Lumineux Aesthetics offers a welcoming space where clients can explore treatments with confidence and clarity.

The clinic is operated by Founder Jacqueline Thomasson, who brings a wealth of clinical expertise and personal dedication to Lumineux Aesthetics. With a Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Injectable Therapies and credentials as an Independent Nurse Prescriber, Jacqueline has trained extensively across leading institutions, including Harley Street and Dr Tim Pierce’s academy. Her clinic has also been accredited for the third year with SAVE FACE, through a Government Register which assesses clinics and practitioners through a rigorous 116-point assessment. Furthermore, her background in mental health nursing and education informs a deeply empathetic approach to aesthetic care, where safety, transparency, and ethical practice are paramount.

Since founding the clinic in 2022, Jacqueline has built Lumineux Aesthetics into a trusted space for clients seeking ethical, personalised care. Her emphasis on honest communication and thoughtful consultation has shaped the clinic’s reputation for integrity and care. Every treatment is approached with precision, and every client is treated as an individual with unique goals and concerns. This commitment to individualised care is reflected in every aspect of Lumineux Aesthetics’ approach, from the initial consultation to the final results and with essential aftercare that has been provided in Chinese as well as English. Furthermore, for Lumineux Aesthetics, communication is truly paramount amongst its high volume of clients. “I love making people feel good in their own skin,” Jacqueline told us. “I believe I have been successful as I can relate to many different personalities and ages. Earning trust is something that I take very seriously, and building a rapport is essential so that my clients know I will always do my best to achieve the best outcomes for them as individuals.”

Outstanding Holistic Care In Aesthetic Practice 2025

Launching Lumineux Aesthetics was far from straightforward. Jacqueline entered the industry while balancing full-time study, family life, and the financial demands of setting up a clinic from scratch. She returned to university for two years while working full-time, often studying late into the night to complete her qualifications. Starting out older than many of her peers, she faced additional pressure to prove herself in a saturated market where medical and non-medical practitioners compete for visibility.

Social media was unfamiliar territory, and building a client base meant starting with friends and family before gradually expanding through word of mouth and professional forums. Jacqueline joined networks such as the BAMAN, ACE, and The Nurses Network to stay connected and informed, finding support among other independent practitioners. Her background in teaching and mental health gave her a unique advantage, helping her understand the psychological and emotional impact of aesthetic treatments on confidence and well-being.

Across its offerings, client service at Lumineux Aesthetics is designed to be as thorough and supportive as the treatments themselves. Jacqueline ensures that every consultation is unhurried, with time given to explore expectations, concerns, and desired outcomes. Aftercare is a priority, with written guidance provided and follow-up support available beyond clinic hours. This level of attentiveness has helped foster long-term relationships with clients who value not just the results but the care behind them.

“Helping clients with even small improvements in their appearance can have an enormous impact on not only how they see themselves, but how others see them,” Jacqueline shared. “There are so many benefits of injectable therapies – when they are done properly and strategically, with a skilled practitioner. It may be something as small as correcting an asymmetrical lip, but to the client, it is a huge change. This is what makes it so rewarding.

“I want to continue providing the best holistic care and outcomes to every client who comes in to meet me at Lumineux Aesthetics.”
